[Solved]: Facebook - Can't Share Post: Profile Not Linked To Delegate Page: Profile Should Always Be Linked To Delegate Page

So there's this error popping up on Facebook now. This error started after Facebook made a few changes to their business profile/suite. Previously, it was possible to share posts to any page on Facebook from any profile - personal or business.

Though this may seem like an error, I think it's a way to curtain unwarranted/unauthorized sharing of content on business pages by any one - Tom, Dick & Harry who may not be associated with the page in any way.

The solution to this error is quite simple if you know the right steps to take.

You received this error message while trying to share a post probably from your website or any other website.

To solve this issue, you'll need to login to Facebook, and select your page profile as the active profile, then refresh the sharing page, or go back to the website where you intend to share the content from and try re-sharing the content.
