How To Create Opay Account (Wallet)

Opay is a popular fintech company in Nigeria for fund management, deposit, withdrawal and investment.

To create account on Opay, you will first need to install the Opay app on your phone.

You can download the app from Play Store or the iOS App Store.

After installation, tap the app icon to launch the application.

Now enter your phone number. Your phone number will serve as your account number/ user id.

Now click "Get OTP". A six digit One Time Password will be sent to your phone line (the one provided above). Enter the code back into the app and click the 'Continue' button. On the next screen, you'll enter some information about you such as your name, email address and date of birth.

Click 'Continue' when done.

Congratulations! You've successfully signed up on the Opay platform and created your Opay account.

Now you can fund your account and begin to enjoy Opay digital services.

Note that the information you provided at sign up is only sufficient to place you at KYC level one. Increase you transaction limits and maximum account balance, you'll need to upgrade your KYC level.
