How To Transfer A Domain

Transferring a domain from one registrar to another is simple. To transfer your domain, you will need the EPP code from your old registrar in order to be able to move it to the new.

The EPP code can also be called an authorization code or auth code for short. They act as a password and are unique to the domain name.

While on your new registrar's website, click on 'Transfer Domain to Us", 'Domain Transfer", or anything similar to that.

Enter the domain name you wish to transfer in the appropriate box provided and click on "Order", "Proceed" or "Continue".

Enter the EPP code or authorization code and click "Confirm".

On the next page, you'd need to provide the nameservers of your hosting provider. You can also skip that if you'd like to complete it later.

Now, you'd be able to see the order summary showing how much you would pay yearly including VATs and other charges. Click on "Continue Shopping" if you'd like to add more products or services to your shopping cart, or click on "Checkout", or "Pay Now" to make the payment. You may be redirected to a third party payment platform to process the payment.

You will need to enter your card details and the OTP you receive for processing, completing and approving the payment.

When you complete this process, the domain will be put in a 'Pending Transfer' mode. This will take a while to complete. Wait for it as the transfer process is being done.

When the process is compete, you will find the transferred domain in your domain list with the new registrar.
