How To Quickly Create/Generate A Google API Key For Blogger (Blogspot) & Other Google Apps
An application programming interface (API) is a way for two or more computer programs to communicate with each other. It is a type of software interface, offering a service to other pieces of software. A document or standard that describes how to build or use such a connection or interface is called an API specification. A computer system that meets this standard is said to implement or expose an API. The term API may refer either to the specification or to the implementation.
There is a normal way to generate API keys for google cloud applications which already has a detailed documentation. This normally has a series of steps to follow.
In this post, I will share with you a faster way to generate/create Google API keys for your Google Blogger application and other Google web apps, which is only a four-mouse clicks away.
To start, visit Blogger API: Using the API | Google for Developers or by directly entering https://developers.google.com/blogger/docs/3.0/using in your address bar.
Once on the page, sign in with the Google account you wish to generate a key for, scroll down, then click "Get a Key".
If you are generating a key for an application you created previously, you can select that from the selection box, or simply create a new application, by selecting 'Create a new project', entering the project title, and hitting the enter key on your keyboard.
After choosing the project or creating a new project and hitting the enter key, wait while Google generates an API key for your application.
Now you have your API key. You can now copy and use it for the project.
