How To Make Group (Conference) Calls On WhatsApp

You may already know that its possible to make conference/group calls on WhatsApp.

So how do you go about making a conference or group call on WhatsApp?

It's simple!

First place a WhatsApp voice or video call.

It was difficult communicating with family and friends years back. It could take days, weeks and even months. Technology has made this process easy today. 

It is a common thing today to make video and voice calls to loved ones, family and friends.

Video call has been around for sometime, but quite expensive to make. 

It became easier to make video calls when services like Skype came onboard. It is even able to make conference calls and hold meetings with groups of person today from anywhere you are.

This is what services like Zoom, Google Meet, et al are for.

Making video calls on WhatsApp is quite easy, but you may not know if you are not told.

While making of video calls is common, voice calling is even more common as it is more data friendly and more convenient.

This post is meant to show you exactly how you can make a voice calls from WhatsApp.

To make a voice call on WhatsApp, first open your WhatsApp application.

Click the contact/number/name of the person you'll like to make a voice call to.

Look at the top of your screen towards the right. You'll see two icons. One that resembles a phone dialer, and the other one resembles a video camera.

Click the first icon from the right (the one that resembles a phone dialer).

That is all. Now you'll be connected to make a voice call with this contact.

Now that you have placed the call, the next step will be to add participants to the active call.

If you look up towards the right hand side, you'll see a '+' icon.

To add other participants to your voice or video call, click the '+' icon. Select the contacts you want to add to the group call. 

Now they are added and you have successfully placed a group call/conference call on WhatsApp.
